Anastasia Reshetnikova has received an official invitation to become a member of the European Film Academy—an institution that unites professionals across the continent in celebration and support of European cinema.

Founded in 1989 by iconic filmmaker Ingmar Bergman and a group of 40 leading European directors, the European Film Academy was created to advance the interests of the European film industry. Since then, the Academy has grown to include over 4,600 members, with notable presidents such as Wim Wenders (1996–2020) and current president Agnieszka Holland continuing its mission to support, connect, and promote European filmmakers and their work.

The Academy plays a key role in fostering dialogue within the industry, promoting cultural exchange, and educating audiences about the richness and diversity of European cinema. Each year, its efforts culminate in the Month of European Film, including the prestigious European Film Awards.

Anastasia’s invitation comes in recognition of her continued commitment to the European film landscape and her efforts to elevate its visibility. Being counted among the members of this esteemed organization marks an exciting milestone in her career.
